Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Moving Image collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet our obligations under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Effective 7 August 2026
Who we are
The Moving Image (SG) Pte. Ltd. ("Moving Image", "we", "us") is a video production company registered in Singapore, at 67 Ayer Rajah Crescent #2-10/17, Singapore 139950. We are the organisation responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information, and they are collected in very different ways.
Information you give us
When you enquire — through a form on this site, by email, or on WhatsApp — we receive whatever you choose to send us. That typically includes your name, email address, and phone number, along with the details of your enquiry.
If you request a quote, that may also include your project type, indicative budget, preferred timing, reference links, and any brief or supporting file you attach. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, identification numbers, financial account details, or any other sensitive personal data — we have no use for them.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, from which country, on what kind of device.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records session replays. This means your interactions with the site — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the pages you move between — may be recorded and replayed so we can see where the site is confusing or broken. Clarity masks text input by default. We say this plainly because a session recorder is more intrusive than page counting, and you deserve to know it is running.
Our hosting and content delivery providers also keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
Why we use it
Enquiry information is used to respond to you, prepare quotes and proposals, deliver work you engage us for, and keep a record of our correspondence with you.
Automatically collected information is used to improve the site's performance and usability, and to protect it from abuse. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.
Consent
When you voluntarily send us your details in order to get a response from us, the PDPA treats that as consent for us to use them for that purpose. This policy is the notification of purpose that goes with it.
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will act on it within a reasonable time — though if you withdraw while a project is in progress, we may not be able to continue delivering it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project correspondence for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete it. Records we are required to retain for tax, accounting, or legal reasons are kept for the period the relevant law requires, and no longer.
Deletion is automated on a schedule rather than left to memory, and it removes any file you attached along with the record itself.
Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the providers named above.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make this site and our work possible, and only to the extent they need it:
- Google (Analytics) — aggregate site usage.
- Microsoft (Clarity) — session replay and usability analytics.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, Turnstile abuse prevention, and private storage of quote attachments.
- Bunny.net — video hosting and delivery for the films on this site.
- DigitalOcean — hosting the content-management system and database that hold enquiry records.
- Postmark — delivering an enquiry notification to our team by email.
Some of these providers process data outside Singapore. Where that happens, we rely on their contractual commitments to provide a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, as the Transfer Limitation Obligation requires.
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Cookies and similar technologies
The analytics services described above set cookies or use similar browser storage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work without them.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser add-on, and Microsoft publishes its own opt-out for Clarity.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss — including access controls on the systems that hold it and encrypted connections to this site. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used or disclosed in the past year.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw your consent to our continued use of it.
Write to our Data Protection Officer at the address below. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can, and within the timeframes the PDPA sets. There is no charge for a correction request; we may charge a reasonable fee for an access request, and will tell you before doing so.
Contacting our Data Protection Officer
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer as the PDPA requires. Write to them at hello@movingimage.sg — please put "Data Protection" in the subject line so it reaches the right person quickly — or by post at 67 Ayer Rajah Crescent #2-10/17, Singapore 139950.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may raise it with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and the effective date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
